Damask Rose oil
Damask Rose oil is generally the form in which it is used in cosmetics. It is obtained from complete steam distillation of the flowers. To be effective, distillation must take place less than 24 hours after picking. What's more, four tons of petals are needed to obtain one liter of oil. These constraints make it a relatively expensive ingredient.
