La Maison de Coiffure Christophe Nicolas Biot Paris 2

A luxurious covered passageway built in 1823 to plans by architect François-Jean Delannoy, the Galerie Vivienne was listed as a historic monument in 1974. The 176-meter-long Galerie Vivienne is lit by a zenithal light that illuminates the period mosaic floor.

In the heart of this gallery, in the former boutique of designer Jean-Paul Gaultier, the 138m² of the Maison de coiffure Christophe Nicolas Biot are spread over three levels, with 15-meter high ceilings, bathed in a shaft of light thanks to a masterly glass roof.

Christophe-Nicolas Biot
"Parquet flooring, wooden furniture and leather armchairs make this a unique place in Paris where calm and serenity reign. "
Christophe-Nicolas Biot, hairstylist, colorist and artist

On the first floor are the reception area and the boutique. Inspired by apothecaries, with its typical wooden cabinet displaying all the products created and developed by Christophe Nicolas Biot Paris: by BIOT, Mon Protocole, HOM'.

On the second level is the "technical" area, where coloring and treatments are applied. A large brick wall behind the tubs and a waxed concrete worktop give the impression of being in a New York loft. This vast room features a relaxation area with large club armchairs and a bookcase for pleasantly waiting while the color sets. A large light-wood table surrounded by armchairs is also used as a space for posing or waiting. Christophe-Nicolas chose not to include any mirrors in this room, for a warmer look that makes you forget you're in a color salon.

Between the coloring area and the reception area is the mezzanine, with a magnificent view of the glass roof. Here, you'll find glass jars of botanical powders from the Botanic Color line created by Christophe Nicolas Biot Paris.
